The Alpha course is a great way to explore the answers to life’s big questions in a relaxed setting. Our next course starts on 22nd September 2011, and runs for 10 weeks until 1st December. Each meeting will be from 6.30pm to 8.45pm and includes an informal meal. The course is free of charge and you can leave at any time.

What’s the course like?
There will be plenty of time at the beginning of each session to get to know people. We’ll then watch a DVD or listen to a talk relating to a key issue of life, and spend time discussing it together over dinner at the evening sessions or with refreshments in the mornings.
You can give your opinions and ask any questions you like. No question is considered too simple or too hostile – we want you to find answers!
Who is it for?
Alpha is primarily designed for people who don’t go to church, but every course is open to anyone who would like to attend. Maybe you want to investigate whether God exists, or are concerned about what happens when you die. Perhaps you want to discuss particular beliefs or want to understand the beliefs of others.You may just want to explore what the purpose of life is.
If you’ve been an occasional churchgoer but feel you’ve never really understood the basics of the Christian faith, Alpha is for you.
