Sunday Service

Our Sunday morning service starts at 10.30am. It’s free flowing and members are encouraged to participate with public contributions of prayer, Scripture reading and spiritual gifts.

During a typical service, time is roughly equally divided between music and preaching. Preaching will be reformed, evangelical and Bible focused, with the goal of applying biblical learning within the modern world.

Shortly after the worship time, which lasts around 45 minutes, children leave the main meeting to go to their own youth groups. After the meeting finishes, at around 12.15pm we serve tea and coffee.

Where we are?

We’re located just west of Bexleyheath in Barnehurst, and are very near Barnehurst station (less than half a mile). Our postcode is DA7 6DL, which you can use to find us on Google maps or to enter into your satnav. Clickhere to get directions from anywhere in the UK.
Car parking for the disabled is to the left of the building as you face it – although there is a parking bay at the front of the building which you could use or where you could drop somebody off. For everyone else, you can use the car park in the doctor’s surgery opposite where you should be able to find a free space.

When do we meet?

Our main church service on Sunday Morning starts at 10.30am. As you walk in through the door, there will be somebody to greet you. On the whole, our service tends to follow a traditional pattern of singing, prayer and the preaching of God’s Word.

For the youngsters

During the part of the morning service when the preaching is taking place, a crèche is available for babies and toddlers, and we also run a Sunday School for the not so little youngsters. These take place in the lounge behind the main hall, so you children won’t be far away, and we will always fetch you if there are any problems. We have a child protection policy and all leaders of activities for children and young people are CRB checked.

Don’t forget the coffee!

After the service, around 12.15pm we serve tea and coffee. We’d love to get to know you a little – so please stay.
